A note from Sarah

Four generations of keeping, in every pouch

I'm Sarah Bellweather, and I was raised on my family's organic farm - keeping a flock before I could read. In our family, caring for chickens was never about reaching for the harshest bottle on the shelf. It was a tin of dried herbs and a stack of handwritten recipe cards passed down from my grandmother, and her grandmother before her.

At the heart of it was a simple chili, oregano, and garlic blend the women in my family stirred into our hens' feed for four generations. Food-based, egg-safe, and gentle - the kind of care you could feel good about giving.

What we believe

Heritage recipes, held to modern standards

Years later, I watched fellow keepers get stuck choosing between doing nothing and dosing their flocks with chemicals that forced them to throw away eggs. So I decided to share what my family always knew.

I partnered with poultry-health experts to hold the old recipes to modern standards - whole botanicals like chili, oregano, garlic, fennel, and flax, milled fresh and custom to each job. Never any antibiotics, steroids, or fillers. Always egg-safe, with no withdrawal. I'm a lifelong keeper, not a veterinarian - and every batch still has to pass the same test: would I give it to my own flock?

From spotting the first signs of worms to getting richer yolks and prepping the coop for winter, every guide is answer-first, honestly sourced, and written from a lifetime of hands-in-the-dirt keeping - never a substitute for your vet, just a fellow keeper sharing what's worked. It's our way of helping every keeper, whether or not they ever buy a thing from us.
